Our Team
Christie Owen
With over 17 years of experience, I bring a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy. Much of my career has been spent in educational settings, where I supported students by helping reduce nonacademic barriers to their learning and well-being. I now work with adolescents through adults, offering a safe and supportive space to explore life’s challenges.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporate additional therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to best support my clients’ needs. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, OCD, and life transitions. I believe in meeting people exactly where they are—with care, acceptance, and without judgment. For those who desire it, I integrate faith into the therapeutic process. If you’re looking for support on your path toward healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you in this journey.
